As the editor-in-chief of The Forum I built relationships with the six editors and 18 reporters to create a comfortable space to share ideas and concerns. I co-taught the class where reporters would present their story ideas, drafts and questions.
I managed the editorial team, leading weekly meetings and assigning weekly tasks to ensure The Forum ran smoothly. I developed strong bonds with the team to build trust and depend on each other. I had about five reporters visit the office weekly for advice and had three returning reporters apply as contributors and as an editor.
